This past Jan. 5 marked 6 months being down here. I can't believe we've (mostly I've) made it away from home that long. Madison is starting to feel like home. I actually look foward to returning after a vist to Mom and Dad's. But I still can't wait until I visit "home" again.
Here they come to save the day! Mighty Aidan and Conner on the way! If you can't see it, they are wearing their "super" capes - Conner's is called "his power". That's also our Christmas tree in front of our bit front window. Yes, there's a black witch's kettle under the tree. For some reason, the boys thought it should go there. Don't ask me, I can't take credit for their decorating.
We had a great Christmas this year. After spending the weekend before with our C'ville families, we enjoyed a quiet X-mas eve and day. The boys got WAY too much stuff. Conner finally understood about opening presents, but only wanted Aidan's toys. Which worked out, Aidan ended up playing with what Conner got. I love them Sims men! The boys and I went to Mississippi for the weekend after X-mas to see Granny Great and their other cousins. All in all it was a good time for us. I didn't know how my first X-mas would go in a new place, but it went well. We have a lot to be thankful for.
Here the boys are playing in our second big snow.
Conner started preschool today (Jan. 19) at the large church (Madison Church of Christ) down the street. We've pretty much decided that this is where we will go for now so the boys can find kids their own age-many of Conner's classmates also go to church there. I now have a few hours every Tues. and Thurs. to get things done and maybe to rest.
That's about all for the Sims clan right now. Down below are some pics from Christmas. Hope all of you are staying warm and enjoying your winter season!
Here's the kids for the Cameron/Hargrove/Sims/Smothermon Family Xmas! Aidan and Conner are in the middle.

Below is a sweet shot (not staged by the way) of Aidan reading to Conner. I think the book was about Transformers. Imagine that. They do this sort of thing every now and then. Really they do. They do. This is proof. They do love each other. I'm not making this up people. They'll always feel this way. Okay-that part is a lie, but for this second I snapped this, they loved each other.

Now you have proof that that they like each other. Even if only for a minute. I would love to have the pic of the 3 boys if you have a minute to send it to me. Look forward to seeing you soon!
